In March 2007 TIS was acquired by UCAS Media Ltd, transferring all data collection, information service provision, contract management and Course Discover to the UCAS family.

The acquisition resulted in the creation of UCAS Media's Information Services Team with the mission of providing top quality course related information for a variety of media. The aim is to meet the information and decision making needs of prospective students at the same time as working towards a centralised point for course data collection. This will enable institutions to publish their information to home and overseas students in a factual, consistent and managed basis.

We continue to collect further, professional and postgraduate information as well as foundation degree, part-time and continuing professional education course information at undergraduate level.
